Interior Signage Built for Offices, Clinics and Retail Spaces

Lobby and Reception Logo Signs

The first thing a client sees. Dimensional logos in acrylic, brushed or painted aluminum, PVC or wood, with optional halo lighting, standoff mounts or flush installation on drywall, glass, brick or wood paneling.

Dimensional Letters and Logos

Cut and finished in-house from acrylic, aluminum and PVC in any thickness, color or finish. Precise letter spacing and level mounting using a printed installation template, so the finished wall matches the approved proof.

ADA and Code-Compliant Room Signs

Tactile lettering, Grade 2 Braille, correct character height, non-glare finishes and proper contrast for restrooms, exits, stairwells, suite numbers and occupancy signs — sized and mounted to accessibility guidelines.

Wayfinding and Directional Signage

Directories, floor and suite numbering, arrows and department signs planned as one consistent system, so visitors move through a building without asking for help. Interchangeable insert holders available for tenant changes.

Frosted Glass and Privacy Film

Etched-look vinyl for conference rooms, glass offices and clinic partitions. Adds privacy while keeping natural light, and can carry your logo, patterns, gradient bands or safety markers on full-height glass.

Printed Wall Graphics and Murals

Large-format printed wall coverings, brand walls, timelines, mission statements and photo murals. Printed on removable or permanent media, contour-cut where needed, and installed seam-matched on smooth interior walls.

Acrylic and Metal Plaques

Donor walls, recognition plaques, employee-of-the-month boards, door plates and desk nameplates. Engraved, printed or second-surface printed acrylic with polished edges and standoff hardware.

Banners, Trade Show and Promotional Items

Retractable banner stands, tension fabric displays, table throws, floor graphics and event signage, plus branded apparel, hats and promo items so your interior branding travels with your team.

Interior design

Interior Signage Planning and Lobby Logo Development

Interior signage works best when it is planned as a system rather than ordered sign by sign. A visitor should be able to walk in, recognize the brand at reception and find the right room without asking anyone for directions.

Before recommending materials or sizes, we look at the space itself — wall surfaces, ceiling height, lighting, glass partitions, sightlines from the entrance and where staff and visitors actually walk.

If you already have a logo, we prepare it for dimensional fabrication while keeping the proportions, spacing and colors intact. When artwork is low resolution or unavailable, we can rebuild it as scalable vector files.

Before anything is cut, you receive a mockup of the sign overlaid on a photograph of your actual wall or glass, so you can judge real scale, placement, finish and lighting before approving production.

Sign types

How to Choose the Right Interior Sign

Lobby Logo Signs

Best for reception areas and brand walls where the first impression matters. Available in acrylic, brushed or painted aluminum, PVC and wood, with optional halo lighting.

ADA Room Signs

Best for restrooms, exits, stairwells and suite numbers where tactile lettering, Grade 2 Braille and non-glare contrast are required by code.

Wayfinding and Directories

Best for multi-tenant buildings, clinics and larger floor plans that need consistent directional signage and interchangeable tenant inserts.

Frosted Glass and Privacy Film

Best for conference rooms, glass offices and exam rooms that need privacy without giving up natural light — and can carry your logo or safety bands.

Printed Wall Graphics

Best for filling large blank walls with brand messaging, timelines, murals or photography using removable or permanent media.

Updates & rebrands

Interior Sign Updates, Rebrands and Tenant Changes

A rebrand or a new tenant rarely requires replacing everything. Existing standoffs, directory frames, insert holders and mounting hardware can often be reused while only the visible graphics change.

We reface directory inserts, replace room-sign panels, remove old vinyl and adhesive residue, patch and touch up drywall where previous signs were mounted, and reprint wall graphics in the new brand colors.

If an existing sign can no longer be updated cleanly — cracked acrylic, faded print, damaged laminate — we will say so and quote a replacement instead of a patch that will look worse than the original.

Materials

Interior Sign Materials and Mounting Methods

Interior signs are judged from a few feet away, so edge quality, finish and mounting precision matter more than raw durability.

Depending on the sign, we use cast and laser-cut acrylic, brushed or painted aluminum, PVC, wood, non-glare ADA laminates, etched-look film and printed wall media.

Mounting is chosen for the wall type — studs and anchors, standoff hardware, flush pins, VHB tape or magnetic mounts on surfaces where drilling is not an option.

Code & accessibility

ADA Compliance for Interior Signs in Chicagoland

Permanent room identification signs are regulated by accessibility guidelines: tactile characters, Grade 2 Braille, character height and stroke, non-glare finishes, contrast, and the mounting height and latch-side position of each sign.

We build interior identification signage to those requirements and place it correctly during installation, which is where most non-compliant signs actually fail.

Interior signs almost never need a municipal permit. The exception is illuminated interior signage visible from the street in a few villages — if yours is one of them, we handle the paperwork.

Pricing factors

What Affects the Cost of Interior Signage?

Cost depends on the sign size, material and thickness, finish, illumination, quantity of room and wayfinding signs, wall type and how much of the work has to happen outside business hours.

A single acrylic lobby logo is a small project. A full office package — lobby wall, wayfinding, ADA room signs, frosted glass and printed graphics — is priced as one package and usually installed in one visit.

For accurate pricing, send the address, photos of the lobby and hallways, approximate wall dimensions, your logo files and a rough list of the rooms that need signs.

FAQ

Interior Sign FAQs

What types of interior signs do you make?
Lobby and reception logo signs, dimensional letters, ADA room signs, wayfinding and directory systems, frosted glass and privacy film, printed wall graphics, plaques, nameplates and event banners.
Do you make ADA-compliant signs?
Yes — tactile lettering, Grade 2 Braille, correct character height and non-glare, high-contrast finishes per ADA guidelines, mounted at the required height and latch-side position.
Can you brand an entire office?
Yes. Lobby logo, wayfinding, conference room and ADA signs, frosted glass and printed wall graphics — one vendor, one design language, usually one install day.
Do interior signs require a permit?
Almost never. A handful of villages regulate illuminated interior signs visible from the street; if yours does, we handle the paperwork.
How long does an interior sign project take?
Most interior projects run 1–3 weeks from approved design to installation, depending on materials, quantity and site access.
Can you install a logo sign on drywall, glass or brick?
Yes. We select the right mounting method — studs, anchors, standoffs, VHB tape or flush pins — based on the wall type and sign weight.
Will you show what the sign looks like before we build it?
Yes. We produce a digital mockup overlaid on a photo of your actual space so you see scale and placement before fabrication starts.
Can you match our brand colors exactly?
Yes. We work from your brand guidelines or files and match to specified color references in paint, vinyl and printed output.
Do you install after business hours?
Yes. Installs in occupied offices, clinics and retail spaces can be scheduled evenings or weekends to avoid disruption.
Do you serve the Chicago suburbs?
Yes. We fabricate in our Chicago warehouse and install throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs with our own crews.
